This 125 year old painting was in our client’s family for many years in an environment with people who smoked and had a fireplace. Our client’s wife loved the painting and he got it restored as a surprise for her. He brought it to our Houston oil painting restoration office filled with soot and had a hole, scratches and missing paint. The client was very appreciative for the restoration and said he saw things in the painting which he didn’t see before the restoration. He said it was awesome and the restoration resulted in a much brighter and more vivid painting. He agreed that the scene seemed to be a different season than before it was restored.
