Repair and Clean Brittle Fine Art Oil Painting Houston Restoration
Our client’s grandfather penned the Old Age Pension Act under President Franklin D. Roosevelt and he wrote the first check for $23 to a recipient. As a thank you the recipient gave him this portrait by a famous painter. As a child, when our client used to go to her grandparents’ house she always admired this painting. She said that the painting was in bad shape, and was very dark, but after the restoration, it was perfect. She also said Maris did a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful job of restoring the painting and the original frame. The colors were brought out and the instrument had not even been visible before the fine art oil painting was restored. She actually cried when she saw the restored oil painting in Houston and said she would pass it on for generations to come.
