This was a treasured family heirloom given to our client from his grandmother. He wasn’t sure they could save it.
OH WOW, are the first words that we hear often and heard it from this client as well. His wife commented that it looked amazing. He said it looked like a new painting. She was worried that they would have to get rid of the frame. Although it was her painting, she said it was beautiful.
While we were making the video, he was so excited that he sent a photo of it to his mother.
His wife said it looked gorgeous and it couldn’t look better.
He commented that Life on the Wall went above and beyond what he thought could be done.
They loved it and said we did great work and they were impressed.
This fine art oil painting was somewhat dark, covered with soot , smoke and aged varnish. It had suffered through two floods, Harvey and Katrina so it had water damage about 12 inches from the bottom. The canvas foundation was weak. The painting frame was also damaged.
