Antique Painting Restoration Houston

A designer and her client found us online. The painting had been in her family and it had been neglected. It was actually nailed to the frame creating holes, tears, and cracks in the paint layer. The painting had old heavy varnish and grime. The painting was painted with very thick paint.

We closed the tears, removed the grime, removed the old varnish, relined the painting, penetrated the painting from the back with a proprietary solution, isolated with gel and applied a new support. We then in-painted and re-varnished the painting.
