Fine Art Restorer Houston… His Musings

Fine Art Restorer Houston

Original Art Work VS Mass Produced Facsimiles.

As a fine art restorer in Houston, I definitely stand for original art work on your walls.

A single artwork requires a creative attitude involving the artist’s creative soul. People who reproduce artwork depend on mechanical repetition.

Original work fills a home or business with a good feeling and adds a volume of creative thoughts to its admirer.

It is good to have original artworks that add value to the life of the admirer.

Just by sitting quietly on a wall, the artwork causes the viewer to relax, as their wandering eyes catch fragments in the painting.  What follows is a release of  creative imaginative powers in the admirer and invites them to enter into a mysterious journey.

Many pieces of original art sit on walls in homes and businesses under layers of smoke, dust, grime and what else happens to be there.

Some artwork bears obvious damages such as tears, rips, flaking, and extensive craquele and ets.

It is good to restore and to preserve your old inherited artwork to prolong its life and with it to preserve the many faceted values for the generation after us.

A Sunday afternoon musing from your fine art restorer in Houston….
