Our client had this portrait of his great grandmother who he had been named after that was about 135 to 140 years old. It had been in a box for about 40 years.
He asked the art teacher at a school he worked at how he could get the oil painting restored. She made some phone calls and gave him our name.
When we got the painting the top of the head was missing and there were about three loose pieces. The painting was brittle.
When our client got the painting back he said that it looked like nothing had happened to it, he couldn’t tell that it had been broken and he couldn’t see any seams. He said that we did a phenomenal job exceeded his expectations.
